Position: Senior Web Developer
Overview:
CDG are looking for a Senior Web Developer with at least 4 years experience in developing websites and web applications.
Duties:
· Writing project specification documents based on client requirements
· Joining the existing development team and develop websites and web applications through to the completion of project.
· Be responsible for the companies Windows and CentOS Servers.
· Maintain the companies Content Management System which will include future revisions, upgrades, and new feature requests.
· Work with the development team providing support for the companies’ procurement systems.
Essential Skills:
· Excellent command of ASP.NET C#, AJAX, MS SQL 2000 + 2005, XML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript
Visual Studio 2005 (or later),
· Strong command of ASP Classic, Windows Server 2003 + IIS6
· Basic command of PHP, MySQL
· Excellent written and verbal skills
· Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
The following, while not essential, are highly desirable
· Perl
· Anthem.NET
· Security Auditing of Web Sites and Web Applications
· Adobe CS2 (or later)
· Source Control
· CentOS + Apache
